Leeds 0 – 6 HDHC
In a week which saw Dragons low on numbers the 3rd XI nearly had to travel to Leeds with only ten men until Hemsley agreed to step in at the last minute. By half time the visitors had already notched up three goals, two from Roberts and one from Bates.
In the 2nd half the Leeds side continued to attack but couldn’t breakdown the Huddersfield defence or beat goal keeper Martin. A great run from man of the match Fielding, from the half way line completely unchallenged by Leeds, saw her score a cracking goal from the top of the D. Fielding added another to the tally and Thomas the sixth to seal the victory. A great result for the Dragons who are looking to secure their second promotion in as many seasons.
