A disappointing result for Huddersfield who may regret not being able to field a full strength team when the promotion race kicks in after Christmas.
Huddersfield looked dominant from the start and played an excellent attacking game which lead to them being awarded a penalty corner which Sarah Walters finish with aplomb. Despite their best efforts Dragons failed to contain the young, fit Sheffield side and a defensive error from the Huddersfield side gifted Sheffield the equaliser.
Dragons fought back and excellent linking from defense to midfield saw Tootell put the ball in the back of the net taking the visitors ahead going into the break.
The second half showed much of the same with Huddersfield narrowly missing chances, but it was Sheffield who took their opportunity with a well worked penalty corner. Despite a great team effort Huddersfield were unable to find the goal which would have put them back in a promotion spot.
