Leeds 5 – 0 HDHC
A disappointing result for Huddersfield’s 6th team who started the match very well against a Leeds opposition full of mid-field playmakers.
Dragons keeper Jack Canham kept Leeds at bay in the first half with several fine saves. Huddersfield had chances to score during the first half, winning several short corners, but failed to be clinical in front of goal. Leeds took the lead early in the second half, and added more goals to their tally when both Paul Barker and Foo went off injured. Huddersfield still pushed for a consolation but lacked experience in the final third.
