City of York 2 – 2 HDHC
Captain Paddy had gathered his troops far too early for a match away at York. On the way ‘Fool of the Day’ Rich Greenhough managed to get lost following the Tom-Tom lady but everyone was there in plenty of time for the push-back. The game started off on a pitch looking more beach-like than Scarborough Sands where Sean had just been on holiday. The dragons started brightly, passing and moving like a John Barnes rap song and soon Super Sean Connell had put the away team ahead. However due to the dragons pressing forward and Yorks quick frontline the home side were dangerous on the counterattck and brought the scores level. Hudds were again back on top as Gorgeous George Pritchard made a great run from left back to set up Connell for his second. Unfortunately a mistake from Huddersfield again let York draw level just before the break and there were a few dropped heads at half time.
After the break Hudds were off the boil, but even then they were all over City of York and were very unlucky not to close the game out for a win.
There are a lot of positives to be taken from this game and the young development Dragons side played some really sexy hockey at times and will win some big games this season.
Man of match – Rich Greenhough
Fool of the day – Rich Greenhough
Goal(s) – Connell (2)

Good to see you haven’t buggered up my team too much Padd-uan! Hope you have a great season guys!
